If you feel you can wisely use a credit card , choose one with a low interest rate and no (or little ) annual fees. Usually credit cards issued by department stores or other stores, charge higher interest rates than bank credit cards but, you can always do your research on the internet.
Don't pay an upront fee to get a lower rate on a credit card! An upfront fee is different from an annual fee and is most likely a scam.
